Witheridge is superbly situated for those who enjoy spending their leisure time outdoors.

For those who prefer golf, there are a number of very fine golf courses to choose from within easy driving distance of the village.

The superb surfing beaches of the North Devon coast are only thirty minutes drive away, where excellent conditions and facilities are available for surfers. If a more peaceful beach experience is what you require, the picturesque harbours and coves of the South Devon coast are also within easy reach.

Both the Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are within easy driving distance; in fact Witheridge is situated on the long distance Two Moors Way footpath, which links these two spectacular areas of countryside.

There is ample opportunity for a huge range of sports, with walking, fishing, riding, cycling, sailing, rock climbing and many other outdoor pursuits all being possible in these beautiful moorland settings.
