Devonshire Homes takes the stress out of moving with its new scheme, Devonshire Move

19 April 2018

Home owners looking to move into a new build property in North Devon could be selling their existing home sooner than they think thanks to the launch of a new scheme from Devonshire Homes.

The local independent house builder has launched Devonshire Move, a scheme designed to help sell an existing property and secure a new home on a Devonshire Homes development. Under the scheme, which is available across all of the house builder’s sites including Mazzard View in Landkey, the house hunter’s preferred plot is taken off the market for an agreed period of time whilst a buyer is found for their existing home. To ensure the process is stress-free, Devonshire Homes will pay the estate agent fees at an agreed level. The scheme is applicable to the purchaser’s main residence up to approximately £300,000.

Mazzard View is a collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes located in the popular village of Landkey. Currently available to purchase through the Devonshire Move scheme are plots 4 and 6.

The Southall on plot 4 is a traditionally built detached house with a large, open plan fully fitted kitchen and dining area. This space is truly the heart of the home where potential home owners will be able to gather friends and family. The separate utility room has a rear door to the driveway which has a stylish pergola. A square bay window to the front can be found in the living room, flooding the room with natural light. Upstairs there are four spacious bedrooms including a master bedroom which has a luxury en-suite and fitted wardrobes. Embracing modern technology, this cavity wall insulated home has gas central heating controlled by Hive.

The four bedroom Dawson on plot 6 is a popular house type thanks to its open plan kitchen / dining / living area which offers flexibility to furniture layouts. House hunters can easily imagine gathering the family in this wonderful space at the end of the day or hosting a dinner party for friends. A feature bay window to the side creates a light and airy space. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower room and bedrooms two and four have useful built-in cupboards. Featuring a double garage with space in front to park two cars, a handy utility room, peaceful study, cavity wall insulation and gas central heating controlled by Hive, the Dawson suits modern day family life. Currently under construction, there is plenty of opportunity for house seekers to make this home their own with a selection of kitchen unit styles, worktops, ceramic wall and floor tiles to choose from.

Jane Pearce, Sales and Marketing Director at Devonshire Homes, commented:

“We have a range of homes available at Mazzard View for all different types of house hunters including those who are looking for more space. By using our Devonshire Move scheme, you can ensure that the whole process is stress-free.”

Jane continued: “Our Sales Executives will work with you to sell your home quickly and efficiently and we will even pay your estate agent fees for you. The plot that you are interested in will also be taken off the market for an agreed period of time whilst we work with estate agents to endeavour to sell your existing home so there’s no need to worry that your dream home will be snapped up by somebody else in the meantime.”

Surrounded by beautiful North Devon countryside, the village of Landkey is less than three miles from the centre of Barnstaple and has an excellent primary school, a locally-run store, village pub and a Post Office.
