Award success again for Devonshire Homes

Top rated local house builder Devonshire Homes are celebrating for a third consecutive year after scooping another NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award, at Moorhayes Park, Tiverton, Devon.

The  award for Nick Bateman at Moorhayes Park follows on from the success of 2008 and 2009 when he not only won a Quality Award but also Seal of Excellence, Regional Winner and was a National Finalist!  Nick comments "Building on from the success of 2008 and 2009 is fantastic and I am delighted to have won another award not only for myself but also for all at Devonshire Homes especially in the NHBC's 30th anniversary year of the awards."

The NHBC set up it's 'Pride in the Job' competition 30 years ago to seek the UK's best Site Managers.  The drive for quality is at the heart of the NHBC's 'Pride in the Job' and is an integral part of its role in helping to raise the standards for new homes buyers.  Nick has proved his calibre by winning 6 Quality Awards over the 30 years of competition.

Paul Land, Managing Director at Devonshire Homes, said, "To win three Quality awards in successive years on the same development is exceptional as it recognises building the best quality new homes and managing sites to an exceptional standard and shows that Nick has been consistent in producing quality homes over the past three years."

Paul added: "This is a very well known national award which is now celebrating it's 30th anniversary and Devonshire Homes are proud to be part of the NHBC's celebrations.  The award is synonymous with quality, and our home owners all over Devon should feel delighted that they have bought a Devonshire home."

Paul presented Nick with his award and whilst congratulating him also wished him every success for the next round of competition at the end of October.

The competition is rigorous with around 18,000 site managers across the UK entered into the awards.  In addition each site manager is assessed over 12 months to gauge an accurate view of how they manage their site and overall quality and finish of the new homes.

Nick will now go onto represent Devonshire Homes at the Regional finals in October at Weston-Super-Mare.
