Devonshire Homes win two NHBC 'Pride in the Job' Quality Awards.
Devonshire Homes are celebrating a double success after scooping two coveted NHBC Pride In the Job Quality Awards on developments at Pystercatcher Court, Shaldon, Devon and Moorhayes Park, Tiverton, Devon.
The award for Nick Bateman at Moorhayes Park follows on from the success of 2008 when he not only won a Quality Award but also a Seal Of Excellence; was a Regional Winner and a National Finalist! Nick comments " Building of the success of 2008 has been very satisfying and I am delighted to have won another award not only for myself but also for all at Devonshire Homes"
In addition to the continued success of Moorhayes Park, Frankie Walsh at Oystercatcher Court in Shaldon has also been awarded a Quality Award. Frankie said "I am extremeley proud to have won a quality award, this has been a challenging development and it's nice to have recognition not only for myself but for all those involved"
The NHBC set up its 'Pride in the Job' competition 29 yeards ago to seek the UK's best Site Managers. The drive for quality is at the heart of the NHBC's 'Pride in the Job' and is an integral part of its role in helping to raise the standards for new home buyers.
Paul Land, Managing Director at Devonshire Homes said "To win two Quality Awards is exceptional as it recognises building the best quality new homes and managing their sites to an exceptional standard"
Paul continued "This is a very well known National award, synonymous with quality, our home owners all over Devon should feel delighted that they have bought a Devonshire Home"
The competition is rigorous with around 18,000 site managers across the UK entered into the awards. In addition each site manager is assessed over 12 months to gauge an accurate view of how they manage their site and the overall quality and finish of the new homes.
Nick and Frankie will now go onto represent Devonshire Homes at the Regional Finals in October
